They have one in Brooklyn called the Cyber Cafe and all the neighborhood kids go there. Sorry, I don't know any in NYC but I;m sure if you look under internet clubs or internet cafes, it'll come up.
2 :
Try home Is cheaper and much less trendy
3 :
Try Barnes and Nobles - they have a cafe , don't they.
4 :
Yes, Barnes and Noble is good. Try the one on Union Square because they have many seats and the cafe is right there. They also have 4 floors.
5 :
Depends where you are, but diners are open late. If you need to use a laptop, find one that has a plug you can use.. not all will accomodate.
6 :
Cyber Cafe 707 8th Ave New York, NY 10036

well, i don't really want kids there, but cafe angelique on bleecker and grove, by the christopher st. stop-- c'est tres cool. small tables though. in koreatown, 32nd and 5th, there's a cafe called space cafe. that would be a good place to study and k-town is even cooler than the village nowadays.

esperanto cafe on macdougal off bleeker dt ut (go before 5 though) on the upper east side hungarian pastry shop near columbia university

I live in New Jersey but work in New York, how am I taxed

I live in New Jersey but work in New York, how am I taxed?
I am married filing jointly, and when I go through my NY non-resident tax return, it taxes me on all the income my wife and I both made last year. She works in New Jersey, and I only worked in NY for half the year. Shouldn't I be taxed on just the money I made in NY?

If you worked in NY, you have to pay NY taxes - its a privilege of working in NY. You must file a NY non-resident tax return. You must file as married filing jointly and include your wife's name and SSN but can omit her income on the NY tax return. There is another form you fill out w2here you basically verify that your wife had no NY income. You must also pay NJ taxes because you lived in NJ. On the NJ joint tax return, you will get a credit for your NJ state taxes for the taxes you paid in NY. If you only worked in NY for half the year, you only include that amount on the NY tax return.

Is being a CVT necessary for vet work in New York

Is being a CVT necessary for vet work in New York?
Is it necessary to be a CVT in order to be hired as a veterinary technician in New York? We live in Florida and you can get hired as a vet tech without any kind of certification but we've heard it's different for New York.

If you can load maps, then yes, it would work. Maybe even without loading new maps... try it out from home. I have a Garmin in California and have looked up and saved addresses on the maps in Hawaii in preparation for my next vacation.
2 :
Yes. It will give you starting location, and ending latitude longitude. I used one for several years flying an ultralight aircraft. Then the maps were expensive. Mine did not have maps. Still very handy for giving ground speed and giving directions back to airport. You need to check if your maps cover the state of Hawaii. Your unit will work anywhere in the world.

GPS stands for global postioning satellite -focus on the word Global.

Yes, it will work in Hawaii. In fact, it should work all over the planet, except in the polar regions. I have a Garmin GPS. For the maps, I use the MapSource USA Topo package which has detalied maps of all 50 states. Prior to any trip, I upload the map of the state or region I am visiting and I am ready to go. Good luck and Aloha!
