Dubai is a rich country with perhaps no.1 in multination envioirnent in Middle East and always have good openings for all types of trades. The local news papers GULF NEWS and KHALEEJ TIMES are the best sources of looking the jobs, you can even look their e-paper. No matter you are from USA or Egypt, but if a well qualified and strong in your own trade, its worth working location in the world. A draw back is just the weather for Europeans (June~August) very hot at out door. The rest is excelant.

dubai has lots of job opportunities but the thing is to have to be here and apply in person to get a job, you cannot get a job in dubai while sittig in NYC - come to dubai for a visit, check out its possibitlites and potential and meet people. this is the only way to get a job here it also depeds on which level you are switching, big level jobs are never easy as they require lots of money and you need to come here to develop PR and find a job to your level check out http://www.dubaifunholidays.com for more insight into dubai life and situations

how can my canadian girlfriend get a greencard to live and work in new york with me.

how can my canadian girlfriend get a greencard to live and work in new york with me.
We are an older couple who although live in 2 different countries we are only 20 minutes apart. We drive back and forth almost 3 times a week to visit and spend times together.. We are not professionals just an older couple living paycheck to paycheck and struggling as individuals.. We would like to just live together and share expenses instead of traveling back and forth every day or week for years. We know all about the visa filing route but we are of modest income and cannot afford the fees. She does not want to change her citizenship, just live with me in the states to share expenses as an older couple. Can she just get a green card to live with me and work a part time general labor job..

Marry her
4 :
Get Married , then she gets a green card!!!!!!!
5 :
just get hitched already! i preform marriages and for under $200.00 your legally hitched with a pre nup so both have no obligation if there is a divorce. both countries have dual citizenship but with canada it is automatic. think how much money you will save on fuel alone, and taxes. gotta love the canadian tax laws on foreign income.
6 :
Um.....yeah, those are really hard to get today.
7 :
she can just move in with you without changing her citizenship and apply for a temporary working visa you don't need a green card ,all you need a working social security numbers or get a dual citizenship which available to Canadian. ,or just move in and cross the boundary at least once a month.

well you kind of have to have the job she would get to sponser the green card .... and you would she would also need a degree .... so I don't think it's likely that a part time job would allow her to do that ... the quickest and easiest route is to marry her .... you could just elope you know .... nothing fancy ... and no one really even has to know if you don't want ... or it is probably easier if you move to Canada .... just look into becoming a landed immigrant.
9 :
Marriage is the only way you can do this, it takes a while and you will not only have to pay the filing costs but will have to prove you can support her. Have you considered moving to Canada? It might be cheaper and easier.

Is commuting everyday from Stamford to new York for work a wise decision

Is commuting everyday from Stamford to new York for work a wise decision?
I am now looking for a job in that area and I heard new york pays more but is it worth the commute, I mean its not like I'm gonna be working the best job I'm straight out off h.s graduation so I'm probably looking for a entry level job.

Of course, Stamford is a good 45 or so minutes from Grand Central Terminal on the Metro-North's New Haven Line, and fare is very reasonable. A round trip peak ticket from Stamford to the City will cost you $24.50. You can purchase a weekly rail pass for $84 and get unlimited travel on the New Haven Line both during the peak and off peak periods. Good luck

Time-wise, commuting from Stamford is almost the same as commuting into Manhattan from some parts of Long Island, even some parts of Queens. In addition, many trains out of Stamford are express trains, stopping only at Stamford, Harlem, and Grand Central. If you find a worthwhile job near Grand Central, and you have a reliable way to get to and from Stamford station on Metro-North, then it might be worth it.
