The only markets in the northeast where they have service is Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo. 2 : NY has metro pcs but its not called metro there because there was already a provider with a metro name. the metro pcs in NY is called cricket. look into it. if you take a metro phone from FL and bring it to NYC it works. 3 : yes it will work because they have nationwide coverage now
