WILL MY METRO PCS WORK IN NEW YORK? I have Metro PCS and I live in South Florida. I am going to New York in December, will my Metro PCS work in New York? I know a while back it did not cover nationwide. Has that changed since? Please let me know, Thanks! The only markets in the northeast where they have service is Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo. 2 : NY has metro pcs but its not called metro there because there was already a provider with a metro name. the metro pcs in NY is called cricket. look into it. if you take a metro phone from FL and bring it to NYC it works. 3 : yes it will work because they have nationwide coverage now
