I want to work as a stock broker, but I don't really want to live NYC. Is there a way to be one in Philadelphia. I also don't want to leave the country.

"Stock Brokers" are a dying breed. They are just salesman and can be located anywhere. Actually most exist in the smaller offices of financial firms throughout the country.
