What's the damage when it comes to taxes? Do you pay much higher tax? How does the tax work in this situation?

Very few people. I can represent homebuyers in NY or CT. NY is more costly that CT, and the beauty of Connecticut is hard to equal. So unless you already live in NY when you found your Job that happened to be in CT, you would not plan it that way. You are not going to move to NY to live if you have already have a job in CT....unless you are 19 and want to live in NYC...at that age it is a different story...I was thinking of choices for people with families.
