The 40GB PS3 plays PS3 and PS1 games. The 80GB PS3 plays PS3, PS2, and PS1 games. The PS2 cannot play PS3 games. The PS1 cannot play PS2, or PS3 games. Good luck.

NO.. it will not work... playstation games are region coded just like dvd's so pakistani games will only work in PS2 and Ps3's from that region and U.S. games will work in only U.S. Playstations. Though you could probably mod either one to work with each other.
